About Timothy Leary
Tim
Leary is a seasoned trial lawyer with experience handling a broad
spectrum
of cases. He has
extensive experience in every
stage of proceedings, including case investigation, negotiation, trial,
and
appeal. He is a
dedicated advocate with
sound judgment and the exceptional ability to persuade jurors. He is recognized as a
strong voice in advocating
for his clients.
For
eight years, Tim Leary was a deputy prosecuting attorney for King
County. He finished his career as
a senior deputy
prosecutor working in the Complex Prosecution and Investigations
Division.
He has personally handled cases ranging from
simple assault to murder. Tim has extensive jury trial experience in
cases involving elder abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault,
robbery, burglary, assault, theft, embezzlement, and driving under the
influence.
In 2008, he
left the prosecutor’s office to open a practice with his
longtime
friend Bill Sherman. He
now dedicates
himself to aggressively defending those charged with crimes and
zealously advocating for injury victims.
Selected High Profile Cases
Tim
excelled the courtroom and was entrusted with numerous high-profile
cases at
the King County Prosecutor’s Office.
He
prosecuted the three car salesmen in the Huling Brothers

also prosecuted Marie
Robinson, the woman convicted of starving her two young
boys

In the Complex Prosecution and Investigations
Division, Tim took on difficult cases, including the egregious
mistreatment at the Richmond Beach House Adult Family Home. Read
